Salesforce Administrator (Minnetonka, MN)

Opportunity Description:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to be part of a high-growth organization. The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for executing our product vision and leading the ongoing development of our deployment including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and a plethora of other Applications. The successful candidate has a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the platform. The Salesforce Administrator works closely with their manager, functional leaders, organizational units, vendors and subject matter experts to identify, develop and deploy technology supporting our core business processes. The Salesforce Administrator oversees and assist the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.

Position Overview & Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily administration of the Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Aid internal APPLIED Salesforce users in training, issue resolution, and any other needs as they arise
  • Provide effective administration and maintenance of
  • Perform user maintenance, including security, profiles, and roles.
  • Manage projects in collaboration with our Managed Service Provider.
  • Participate in the data integration process with corporate enterprise systems.
  • Review, prioritize and implement revisions and updates to the software.
  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards.
  • Create and deliver user training materials, for existing and new users.
  • Create and manage custom fields, objects, layouts, list views, triggers, user permissions, and workflows.
  • Design and manage ongoing configuration/enhancement of the system to support corporate goals and initiatives.
  • Identify and implement best practices to increase business performance relating to efficiency, improved customer service, and sales.
  • Make recommendations and design solutions that improve user experience, expand platform utilization, and align with the overall company strategy.
  • Partner with cross-functional business teams to understand and analyze business objectives, gather and define business requirements.
  • Facilitate and support testing of new features in alignment with team requirements. Create and maintain detailed documentation including technical designs, project plans, workflows, and training documents.
  • Administer add-on applications, integrated tools, and other Salesforce managed products.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 2+ years CRM administration experience
  • Ability to act independently and demonstrate initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (primarily Excel and Word)
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to a constantly changing environment

Preferred Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience using a plus
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification a plus
  • Previous experience supporting a dynamic sales and marketing team
