Opportunity Description:

We are looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist who wants to have fun with a growing organization. The Human Resources Generalist is a key member of our HR team and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations including but not limited to, performance management, team member and leader relations, and HR Administration.

Accountabilities:

  • Handles daily workflow in partnership with Human Resources Director
  • Coordinates and tracks timely performance
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as

Skills and Experience:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred or equivalent experience
  • Problem-Solving/Trouble Shooting – Well organized, process and data driven, logical thought-process, the ability to make decisions and act on them
  • Interpersonal – Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization, build and manage relationships, and demonstrate resilience and ability to handle difficult situations with a positive “can do” Also, have a proven experience & ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Communication – Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills
  • Technology – Strong computer skills with ability to learn new systems quickly and efficiently, proficient keyboard abilities, MS Office, Windows O/S
